Our story
Ink began when Shawn Richards, coming off a web development business teamed up with Janet to build the system to replace pen and paper at check-in. They bootstrapped Ink, wrote the first code and focused on product innovation. More than two decades later, that same belief in doing things differently shapes Ink.

The first system
Janet and Shawn Richards founded Ink in the UK, developing a web-based Departure Control System for Menzies Aviation.
Expansion across borders
Handled our first flights in Brisbane, Australia, for Menzies Aviation.
Reborn in Spain
Reincorporated in Spain, expanded into Colombia; and partnered with Copenhagen Airport, Jet2, and others.
Partnership with Radixx
Teamed up with Radixx to provide the technology behind RadixxGo, ahead of their acquisition by Sabre.
Building for tomorrow
Pivoted during the pandemic to health tech, digital identity, and blockchain software.
Rapid growth
Opened the Serbian office and grew our development, design, and project management teams by 65%.
The first Service Delivery Platform
Launched the first Service Delivery Platform for the world's first digitally native airline, Riyadh Air.
